A SAFE ENVIRONMENT

Protecting Our Students, Families, and Staff

At Grace Christian Prep School, the spiritual, emotional, and physical well- being of our students, faculty, staff, and families is of the utmost importance. Creating and maintaining a safe environment is a responsibility we take seriously and is fundamental to our mission of providing a Christ-centered educational experience.

The safety and security of our campus begins with a shared commitment from our entire school community. We believe that every student deserves to learn and grow in an environment that is safe, secure, nurturing, and supportive.

See Something, Say Something

We encourage all members of our school community to remain vigilant and report any concerns regarding safety, security, student welfare, or suspicious activity. When concerns are reported, our administration and safety team are committed to responding promptly and appropriately.

By working together—students, parents, faculty, staff, counselors, community partners, and law enforcement—we create a culture where everyone feels comfortable sharing information that helps prevent problems before they occur.

Campus Safety Measures

Grace Christian Prep School maintains comprehensive safety procedures designed to protect our  students and staff, including:

    •   Visitor screening and controlled campus access

  • Visitor identification and sign-in procedures

  • Campus safety monitoring and regular patrols

  • Emergency response planning and preparedness drills

  • Collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency responders

  • Secure arrival and dismissal procedures

  • Ongoing safety training for faculty and staff

Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where students can focus on learning, growing in their faith, and reaching their full potential.

Employee & Volunteer Screening

The safety of our students is our highest priority.

All faculty, staff members, coaches, volunteers, and individuals who may have direct contact with students are required to successfully complete background screening procedures before serving within our school community.

These screenings may include:

  • National background checks

  • Fingerprinting requirements

  • Employment verification

  • Reference checks

  • Additional screening measures as required by law and school policy

These procedures are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.
