At Grace Christian Prep School, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors is our highest priority. Our Campus Safety Team is dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Commitment to Safety
Our Campus Safety Team works diligently to:

Maintain proactive situational awareness by monitoring campus environments for safety concerns, hazards, and suspicious activity.

Foster a welcoming atmosphere through professional, respectful communication and positive interactions with all members of the school community.

Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations in accordance with established campus safety procedures and emergency response protocols.

Coordinate and communicate with the Gainesville Police Department, Alachua County Sheriff's Office, Fire Rescue personnel, and other emergency responders when additional support is required.

Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings, parking lots, playgrounds, athletic facilities, and surrounding areas to ensure visibility and deter unsafe or inappropriate behavior.

Monitor visitor access and campus entry points to maintain a secure learning environment.

Assist with student arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure the safe movement of students, parents, faculty, and visitors.

Support emergency preparedness initiatives, including safety drills, crisis response planning, and staff training.
