At Grace Christian Prep School, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors is our highest priority. Our Campus Safety Team is dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Commitment to Safety

Our Campus Safety Team works diligently to:

​

• Maintain proactive situational awareness by monitoring campus environments for safety concerns, hazards, and suspicious activity.

​

• Foster a welcoming atmosphere through professional, respectful communication and positive interactions with all members of the school community.

​

• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations in accordance with established campus safety procedures and emergency response protocols.

​

• Coordinate and communicate with the Gainesville Police Department, Alachua County Sheriff's Office, Fire Rescue personnel, and other emergency responders when additional support is required.

​

• Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings, parking lots, playgrounds, athletic facilities, and surrounding areas to ensure visibility and deter unsafe or inappropriate behavior.

​

• Monitor visitor access and campus entry points to maintain a secure learning environment.

​

• Assist with student arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure the safe movement of students, parents, faculty, and visitors.

​

• Support emergency preparedness initiatives, including safety drills, crisis response planning, and staff training.
